Project Briarwood is an academic summer enrichment and remediation program for students entering first through seventh grade for the 2024-2025 school year, with learning disabilities such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, ADHD, and other language-based learning differences. Project Briarwood combines explicit instruction related to language and math with a fun theme where the students can share what they have created on Fridays.
Project Briarwood is taught by a specialized staff of educators, using evidence-based academic strategies with reported outcomes, that can transfer to multiple settings. The program is designed to provide strategies to develop and build upon skills in the core areas of academics and help with organization and study habits. Each week has a different theme, using project-based learning. At the end of each week, the students create a product, presentation, or performance related to the theme.
